From Reine a ship leaves that takes us to Vinstad. From the jetty we cross the Bunesfjorden to the beach of Bunes and it takes approximately 20 minutes. After a first look at the beach from above, we look for the path to begin the climb to Helvetestinden, whose granite wall seen from the beach is SPECTACULAR. The trails, as a general rule in Lofoten are not signposted and will be a succession of very narrow paths alternated with stones of greater or lesser extent. You will find several, because people climb almost anywhere they can, but look for the milestones, that there are. Like everything here they are steep climbs, generally, and depending on the time, more or less muddy, by rains or water regattas. As we finish the climb we will see the Kirkenfjorden from above and a whole series of peaks to which more wonderful. Just getting up here deserves the effort.
The first peak we find is that of the Brunaktelstiden and the second one of the Helvetestinden that are separated by about 600m. It should be noted that the passage through the ridge is not for everyone and if it is wet it is better to stay in the Brunaktelstiden because a bad step taken and you can fall into the void. It is also not suitable for people with vertigo or little experienced. Fundamental good grip on the sole.
Then the descent down the same site to the beach and back there to relax tensions.
