Itinerary description
A walk from Vierves to Treignes and back follows mainly marking by orange losange, but is slightly shorter. A nice mix of village views, fields, a bit of forest and the valley of Viroin.
You first start in Vierves going uphill to a viewpoint on the village, then continue through forest to join the orange losange marked trail (km 0.85). You cross the asphalt road connecting the two villages, then walk uphill on asphalt road for two hundred metres and at km 1.4 turn right onto a path going on the verge of the valley. For the next kilometre or so you see the village of Treignes with its church tower.
At km 2.7, you walk downhill, before a small wooden bridge you turn right and the path will soon bring you to the asphalt road. At km 3.05 you turn left and follow the road for a few metres to turn sharply right onto a path between fields. At certain moment it will bring you through forest almost into Vierves. You will have views on the valley of Viroin. Before the village follow the orange losange: at km 4.9 turn left, you will go through a hill with an oak tree and views, and then the path will be turning several times, until you reach streets of Vierves.
