Itinerary description

Once we did the cave tour in Viang Xai, went to the waterfall, visit the official city viewpoimt of Viang Xai and visited Sam Neua from where you can visited the authentic hotspring named Na Meuang, it was time to drive back to Viang Xai. Since our Vietnan visa was still in proces (because of holidays) we had more time and discovered this trail with amazing views, guiding you past local off map places where the locals are leading a laidback life. Some almost on top of the mountain, others low in the valley.

On the way you see plenty of buffalo and cows living their lifes walking and grazing and looking for cooling off places in the mud. The path leading you through some ricefields and stunning views. All paths are offical so no need to be afraid of bombs from the secret war that didnt go off. Its quite a bit up and down and almost 17km so quite the hike. Take some time for this walk and drink plenty of water. One bottle pp at the least.
