Itinerary description
Few hundreds meter after leaving La Santona, turn right and then left to return back to Via Vandelli.
The whole journey, until you reach the basement of S. Pellegrino, is mostly in the Via that is a large, often original, road. There will be multiple crossing, usually when in doubt the larger route is the good one.
There will be fountains during the journey, and the hike is mostly in the forest protecting you from the direct sunlight. However, there will be no bar, pubs or town to stop for.
When you reach via Radici, you can either take the steep shortcut 559 at Imbracamento, or follow the asphalt for a more easy but slightly longer journey. With the first, you'll cross the 00 route and walk the "Sentiero del Diavolo" that will bring you to San Pellegrino in Alpe
