Itinerary description
Great hike, mostly on nature trails, well marked. Following first the Sentiero Verde Azzurro to Corniglia, where we managed to avoid major crowds by leaving before 9am (on a weekday, mid April). Then route 587 (except for a 'shortcut' on unmarked trail, strenuous, fun and not very difficult in wild forest), then AV5T, then 537 and finally 504. The (avoidable) descent to Biassa on route 537 was difficult; steep and, at least in wet conditions, slippery. Otherwise an only moderately difficult hike with spectacular views and a beautiful forest, which we had almost to ourselves.
