Very interesting route in terms of landscape and views.
We recommend doing the route in a clockwise direction. In this way, we have the sun at our backs practically throughout the route and it doesn't bother us as much as if we had it in our faces. White and red markings also look better in this regard.
We start the route at the Gjergi Frani camping bar, but you can start at the metal bridge, which shortens the road and river crossing.
Practically the entire route has white and red markings, but in some areas they are very difficult to find. Especially in the first fern, when going up, and in the last one when going down. From where we leave the car to the metal bridge there are no markings.
Except for the places where it is difficult to find the marks, it is an easy path to follow, especially if you have the track on your mobile and look at the Wikiloc map which also marks a trail. Due to connectivity problems, the track does not mark the route perfectly but sometimes makes long runs.
The route is relatively long, but we took it very calmly. In some places we stopped to pick strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
The climb is steady but not extremely difficult.
The upper part is quite level and is nice and very beautiful. It does not go through the peaks because they are very steep and there is no marked route.
In a pass, after the depopulated area, you can start the descent (which we did) or you can follow the ridge and pass near another peak.
The descent is also quite pleasant although quite steep.
I have tried to photograph and mark the more complicated points as well as some interesting points and places with water.
I hope you like it!
