PLEASE DONT WALK THE TRAIL! OR DELETE THE TRAIL PLEASE! We tried to walk the path today and we punched through some undergrowth. It has nothing more to do with moderate or with a hiking trail! Everything is overgrown on the trail and you can't see a path. had to stop when descending because you couldn't see any path or animal path and walk back to the levada aqua and then the 7km road to the starting point (parking lot)!
Lamento que não tenha conseguido progredir. Isto não são trilhos oficiais e turísticos, marcados e mantidos pelas autoridades. São trilhos antigos perdidos que eram utilizados por agricultores e caçadores que agora vêm à luz do dia com o trabalho árduo de alguns pedestrianistas, como eu.
Hello Orlando, that's great too since we didn't want an official way! At the moment it is not accessible, we are very experienced hikers but unfortunately it is not possible to get through here at the moment. and at times you can only guess where to go. we really followed your path very closely! Nevertheless, we thank you for looking for a path in 2015 for people like us who also want to explore paths away from the tourists!
