Itinerary description
The Venkatagiri Durgam is a fort like structure build on the hill near venkatagiri. A tough trek of 8-10 hours is required to reach the fort/durgam from palem kota village, The trail is untouched other than the locals and a few adventure groups. There is a small cave on to the top after reaching a rock patch base which has small droplets of water flowing through the tree roots and the rock cot formations, this is the only easily accessible water source in the trek. The trek is not recommended in the months of FEB-OCT due to heat during summer and Water streams make the final climb and camping difficult.

The place was awesome and you won't find woods to make fire when u reach top, so make sure to carry some woods with you. Tent is must otherwise you will get wet. Must trek only between Nov - Jan otherwise you get any water source,
