This is a very easy-going hike of 14 km which goes mainly downhill (300 m ascent vs 700 m descent).
We were dropped off by car in Velestovo. From there you follow a 4x4 road which soon becomes a smaller trail.
You pass the almost deserted village Konjsko after 4.5 km and the village Elshani at 8 km from the start.
Near Konjsko there is a World War II Monument next to the ruins of a school. The ruins remind of the battle of the Partisans against the Germans and the Italians. On June 9th 1943 the Partisans blew up the school building that was used by the Italian border patrol. The Partisans were members of the "Dame Gruev" group, named after a Macedonian freedom fighter against the Ottomans.
We initially planned to continue this trail towards the village Trpejca (which would make the total length about 18 km), but unfortunately my hiking partner did not feel well and we abandoned the trail and descended towards Pestani. I spotted a squirrel in-flight over the hiking trail, see the pictures!
In Peshtani we took a (mini)bus back to Ohrid for only 30 denars (50 eurocents) per person.
This is a nice trail for those who do not want to walk uphill too much. It gets 3 out of 5 stars from me.

Thanks for your review Mikos88. If you don't enjoy climbing, you may like the hike that starts at the Lipovo Livada pass in the south of Galicica National Park and goes north all the way to Ohrid. You can adapt the trail a bit and walk straight to your accommodation in Velestovo (see the description). A beautiful walk with limited climbing: https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/galicica-national-park-traverse-through-the-valley-14872763
