Itinerary description
A difficult walk to a beatiful (more or less remote) beach. Drive to the starting waypoint close to Pachia Ammos and than start the walk. Walking distance (including return) is approx. 4,8km /2,5h walking time.
Attention: The GPS track is one way from the beach to the real startng point...
Good footwear required, you need your hands frequently for climbing over rocks or when passing narrow sections. 2 or 3 times there is a rope to support you. It is helpful if you are not alone so that you can support each other. You must not be afraid of great heights! There are some steep sections on loose and slippery gravel. (For these I reccommend to use hicking sticks, but they are annoying when there is another climbing part).
Make sure to take enough drinking water with you. You maybe able to refresh your water supplies from the river Vatos close to the beach, but at no other place.
Unfortunately, there are boat trips from a nearby beach to this place, so you might stumble over some other tourist groups. For sure you will encounter people who stay on the beach for days or weeks, please respect the privacy...
