Itinerary description
Mietoistenlahti Nature Reserve is one of the best bird wetlands in Finland. Vasikkahaka trail (500 m) is accessible but due to slopes assistant is needed with a wheechair. At the end of the trail is an observation tower which is not accessible for wheelchairs. Yet beside the tower the view over Mynälahti Bay is beautiful. The width of the trail is mostly 1,2 m or more, the narrowest singular point is 0,9 m. There is a table and an accessible dry toilet by the parking lot. There are information boards and few benches along the trail.
