    Hee Demi,

Quick question, if we skip the upper circle of the route like you did with the "Goldmine" route. Will we in that case miss much of the views or do you recommend walking the entire route? And is it a heavy route to hike?

    Thanks for answering in advance!

Hey Thijs! It still is really beautiful, but I highly recommend to follow to route in the upper part. At least the beginning. At the beginning you'll take the sharp left road up. Then you'll come on a gravelroad and pass, I think, 3 beautiful farms. About 200m after the farms, it goes super steep up where there is a little old metal electricity house(small) or something with an old door. There you go to the right on a big field with a great view! Here you can have lunch or a break. You can take the same road back and then go to the 'goldmine' or follow the upper part. I was always with a big group, I assume you are also a Simiguide(if not, sorry) so you can let the bigger hikers do the big round and the ones who dont, can go back. Or if you are alone, decide yourself 😀 I hope it is a bit clear! Or else, let me know😎 have fun. Enjoy the beautiful country!

P.s. If you are a real diehard, I also have this trail all the way to Golte. Then you can go back via the gondola!

Haha no I am not a simiguide, but I am travelling with simi! I take it this hike is incorperated in the programm then? Because if that is the case, then there is no use for me to undertake the hike myself.

Thanks for the detailed description, the route sounds beautiful and definitely worthwhile! I do love a good long hike, so I'll most likely do the longer route. I'll have fun for sure and I'll definitely enjoy the country!

Haha thing is, since I'm travelling with simi, that I do not know if I will have the time to incorporate a really long hike into the shedule although the hike all the way to Golte sounds amazing!

Again thank you for the detailed response!

No it is not! I made this hike myself. I have no clue if they are still using it haha. You can always ask if there is any time! Slovenia has a lot of beauty so please try if you can to go anywhere😄😄 have fun!

Ah alright! Then I guess I'll ask simi if they still use it and if they don't I'll walk it with a few others! But I'll definitely try to see as much as possible! Thanks!

Hey Demi, one more quick question from my travel group. Is it absolutely necassary to bring proper hiking shoes? I am bringing them for sure,

But some of my travel companions are thinking about only bringing their sportshoes or sneakers instead of proper hiking shoes. Could you describe the steepness of the paths for me and tell me if the paths are walkable on sneakers/ sportshoes?

    Thanks in advance!
