Itinerary description
Camiño Portugues-Variante Espiriutal - Combarro to Barrantes via the Ruta da Pedra e da Auga (the walk of stone and water).
Bang! Straight out of the gates we headed vertically to the summit Mirador lookout at 400m. The descent to Armenteira was sedate enough, ending at the Monastery.
From just past the monastery we started on the route of stone and water. Insanely beautiful and spiritually sedating walk along the river which was dotted with 33 munio (water mills).
Our walk today was complete at our overnight accommodation ~ Os Castaños rural restaurant and hotel.
