Trilha desde Felgueiras- SENDIM- a Covide , com passagem pelos concelhos de Felgueiras Margaride, Fafe, Vieira do Minho, e Terras de Bouro e pelos locais de : Santa Quitéria,- Senhora de Antime; - Senhora das Neves, na Lagoa;- Guilhofrei, - Mosteiro,- Senhora da Fé - Santuário de São Bento da Porta Aberta .

- Depois de apreciar o famoso Pão de Ló de Margaride, o Bacalhau à Felgueiras e a frescura e intensidade dos Vinhos Verdes, siga para Sendim.

- Pode iniciar esta “Variante” a partir do Caminho de Santiago de Torres junto da Loja Interativa de Turismo de Felgueiras, na Casa das Torres, ou desde a igreja paroquial, seguindo pelas ruas que o levam ao Santuário de Santa Quitéria e até Santiago de Sendim:
- R. Joaquim Luís, - R. Costa Guimarães (N207) - R. da Alegria ,- R. Martins Enes, - R Santa Quitéria, - R. Pont Saint Matence, - CM 1172, - Santuário, - CM 1172, - R. Fonseca Moreira, - M 514 e 514-2, - R. Escola de Godim, - R. da VI Romana, - Igreja de Santiago de Sendim.

Em Sendim, onde viveu o Grande Egas Moniz, visite o lugar da antiquíssima cidade de Eufrágia que foi arrasada pelos mouros..

- Fafe - Senhora de Antime. Se pretender ir ao centro da cidade de Fafe para se alojar, ou reabastecer e onde encontrará muito que apreciar, seguir pelas seguintes ruas: - R. Nossa Antime, - R. de Santa Maria, - R. Dr. José Summavielle Soares, - R. Vasco da Gama, -Travessa de Portugal e Largo de Portugal, - R. José Vieira de Castro, - R. Monsenhor Vieira de Castro.
Depois deste desvio volte no sentido inverso.

Em Antime, continue na Rua da Igreja para São Gens, onde pode ver restos de um mosteiro de monges Beneditinos; Moreira de Rei, que foi sede do extinto concelho de Monte Longo; alto da Pedra Sentada onde finaliza o Rally de Portugal, com o famoso "salto", e Santuário da Senhora das Neves - Lagoa onde, segundo a tradição, se pode "livrar do mafarrico"...

A partir daqui poderá optar por fazer o trilho do Caminho Mariano até ao Santuário do Sameiro em Braga. Pode encontrar este trilho no Google pesquisando "Caminho Mariano Lagoa ao Sameiro". (O traçado encontra-se marcado com setas azuis a iniciar junto à igreja).
No Posto de Turismo do Sameiro pode-se informar sobre o caminho "Via Mariana" que dali parte até Santiago de Compostela e Senhora da Barca em Muxía, na Galiza.

- Vieira do Minho- com percurso desde Rossas e Guilhofrei, passando sobre a barragem do Ermal e seguindo a margem da albufeira até Tabuadela e chegando à freguesia de Mosteiro, onde viveu Santa Senhorinha. Na Vila de Vieira visite a casa da Cultura na antiga Casa das Lamas. Ali lhe indicarão outros locais a visitar. Pode seguir até Eira Vedra. Com um pequeno desvio, depois de Eira Vedra, chega ao alto onde se situa o Santuário da Senhora da Boa Fé. Dali, terá lindas paisagens desde o cimo dessa serra, do lado sul sobre Vieira e, mais ao norte, depois do Penedo e Ventosa, terá a visão de um grande vale aberto, sobre a barragem da Caniçada e o Gerês .

- Terras de Bouro- Rio Caldo, com a barragem da Caniçada. Aqui pode almoçar, jantar ou dormir. Um pouco mais adiante tem o Santuário de São Bento da Porta Aberta… (São Bento de Núrsia viveu nos séculos V e VI d.C. e foi proclamado patrono da Europa, em 1964, pelo Papa Paulo VI).

Pode seguir sempre pela E N 304 até Covide, ou pelo caminho de terra batida, desviando-se à esquerda depois de sair de São Bento a cerca de 2,6Km, passando pelo Lugar de Freitas e até Covide.

Terminará o percurso em Covide, Terras de Bouro na EN 307. Junto ao Café Eiras encontra as setas amarelas que lhe indicam como seguir até Santiago de Compostela pelo caminho da Geira e dos Arrieiros.

Ao longo do percurso há possibilidade de encontrar alojamento e restaurantes com bela gastronomia regional. Pode encontrar belas igrejas e disfrutar de lindas paisagens.

In Antime, continue on Rua da Igreja to São Gens, where you can see remains of a monastery of Benedictine monks; Moreira de Rei, which was the seat of the extinct municipality of Monte Longo; top of Pedra Sentada where the Rally ends with the famous "jump", and Santuário da Senhora das Neves - Lagoa where, according to tradition, you can "get rid of the mafarrico"...
From here you can choose to take the Caminho Mariano trail to the Santuário do Sameiro in Braga. You can find this trail on Google by searching "Caminho Mariano Lagoa ao Sameiro". (The route is marked with blue arrows starting next to the church).
At the Sameiro Tourist Office you can find information about the "Via Mariana" route that runs from there to Santiago de Compostela and Senhora da Barca in Muxía, Galicia.

- Vieira do Minho - with a route from Rossas and Guilhofrei, passing next to the Ermal dam; Tabuadela, Monastery (parish), where Santa Senhorinha lived. In Vila de Vieira visit the House of Culture in the old Casa das Lamas. Here you can heve information of other pace to visit. You can continue to Eira Vedra. With a small detour, after Eira Vedra, you reach the top where the Sanctuary of Senhora da Boa Fé is located. From there, you will have beautiful views from the top of that mountain, on the south side over Vieira and, further north, after Penedo and Ventosa, you will have a view of a large open valley, over the Caniçada and Gerês.

- Terras de Bouro- Rio Caldo, with the Caniçada dam. Here you can have lunch, dinner or sleep. A little further on is the Sanctuary of São Bento da Porta Aberta… (Saint Benedict of Nursia lived in the 5th and 6th centuries AD and was proclaimed patron of Europe in 1964 by Pope Paul VI).

You can always follow the E N 304 to Covide, or take the dirt road, turning left after leaving São Bento at around 2.6 km, passing through Lugar de Freitas and until Covide.

The route will end in Covide, Terras de Bouro on the EN 307. Next to Café Eiras you will find the yellow arrows that show you how to continue to Santiago de Compostela along the Geira and Arrieiros path.

Along the route there is the possibility of finding accommodation and restaurants with beautiful regional cuisine. You can find beautiful churches and enjoy beautiful landscapes.

Se pretender iniciar aqui o Caminho, pode-se deslocar no dia anterior em autocarro desde várias localidades.

- De Felgueiras a Fafe são 13 km com alguns cafés ao longo do caminho.
Em Fafe há muita variedade de mercados e ALOJAMENTO.

- Saindo de Fafe, por Antime, até Moreira de Rei, são 11km e encontra ali, junto ao Pelourinho, a " Pastelaria Moreira de Rei" onde lhe pode ser servida uma refeição ligeira ( +351 252 071 495 Sr. Amaro).

- Siga por mais 7,5 km até à Senhora das Neves -Lagoa.
Pode saborear uma abundante refeição no restaurante Chamonix (+351 963 203 865 ou +351 253 501 324, -Da. Fátima), ou petiscar no "Café Nova Geração" (00351 253594957 ou 00351 967932758 sr. Cândido - ou Conceição), e também na "A Tasquinha D'Aldeia- ( 00351 253 186 767 ou 00351 967 014 412 -sra. Sandra)

- Desde a Lagoa até ao "HOTÉIS NASCENTE do AVE" (+351 962 024 888 ou +351 253 752), são 9 km.
Neste local pode tomar uma boa refeição e PERNOITAR. Ao passar por Rossas tem onde se abastecer.
- - Na "CASA CARVALHEIRA", junto à Igreja de Santiago de Guilhofrei, contacte o Sr. José Alberto que lhe informará se tem alojamento disponível - (+351 938 297 767

- Depois de Guilhofrei e de passar sobre a barragem do Ermal, contornando a Albufeira e andando mais 9,5 km
chega ao centro de Vieira do Minho.
No Restaurante Típico "A TASQUINHA" pode tomar refeições e PERNOITAR (+351 917 170 488).
Existem outros bons restaurantes e Mercados.

- Depois de Vieira, até Rio Caldo são 10,5 km.
No "Café da Ponte", (+351 253 391 177) pode comer. (Prevêem, no futuro, adotar o "Menu do Peregrino").
No "RESTAURANTE GIDELOS - (+352 253 391 116 -Sr. Adelino) pode tomar uma refeição e tem ALOJAMENTO. Também pode encontrar mais restaurantes perto daqui, até São Bento da Porta Aberta.

- Com mais 9,5 km chega a Covide onde se encontrará com o Caminho da Geira e dos Arrieiros.
No "Café Eiras" pode comer uma refeição caseira. Tem um mini mercado ao lado deste café. Pode procurar alojamento aqui ou, se decidir continuar por mais 4 km chega até Campo do Gerês, já no Caminho da Geira.
