Itinerary description
Vanil Noir is the highest summit of the Fribourg Prealps, but also an impressive pointy peak with no "easy" path to the summit. We can either use the west ridge, not technically difficult but with exposed sections (specially the breach passage) or the south-east face, with grass and slippery rocks but well equipped with chains. In this track, I used the ridge on the way up and the face on the way down, also climbing easyly Vanil de l'Ecri before descending. All the route, however, is on marked trails. So if you stop seeing marks for a while and you are off-trail or in a too difficult section, you are probably off-track ;)
