Itinerary description
Col des Marches.
I was aiming for refuge des Marches but had to go back home.
Snow pack at the Col was still important for this beginning of July. The night before we had heavy pour rain that made the part right after the col very slippery.
Falling at the col could lead to serious injuries so I played it safe.
