Itinerary description
Vallvidrera to La Floresta Pearson - a nice hike starting with a short, steep climb up the stairs from the Vallvidrera station; nice views of Tibidabo, and a mellow downhill walk through the forest to La Floresta. The trail follows GR96 a good part of the way, and crosses the Pearson highway at the start of the tunnel in La Floresta, near La Riera preserve where a nice waterfall can be found if you want a side trip.
From the train station in Vallvidrera, turn south and go up the stairs. If you want to check out the Reservoir first, follow signs to the Pantà de Vallvidrera, to the left of the stairs, then you can head uphill from the other end of the pond and catch the trail again easily from there.
Parts of the trail are narrow, washed out, with loose rock and deep trenches, but nothing technical; just lots of opportunity to twist an ankle if you aren’t watching your feet.
Celebrate your finish in La Floresta with a caña on the plaza above the train platform. The walk should be manageable inside of two hours.

Easy to follow
Scenery
Moderate
Some of the trail was through undergrowth and was not on a path, this meant you needed your phone in your hand to watch the route as it was not clear which direction to walk in without it.
Some parts were steep. Overall a good 2 hour walk with some nice views.
