Itinerary description

Challenging day. The first 10 km up to the weapons museum are very bumpy. You pass next to a beautiful lake for something else. After the journey becomes lively and pleasant. Always wind chill sideways and as usual you are very exposed. After Gilsland a really beautiful piece begins. I diverted a couple of miles at the end to see the Priory of Lanercost which I think deserves.
