Itinerary description
Hiking at Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park
This is a great walk around Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Unlike Uluru rock, Kata Tjuta is a conglomerate of rock formations which lies more than 50 km far from Uluru.
Same advice applies for this walk, remember to carry enough water for the entire walk and plan carefully what time you should start walking due to the heat and lack of shade. However I remember there is a water tank along the trail where you can fill your water bottle up.
If you are a solo traveller and intend to walk Uluru base walk by yourself, there is an option of hop on hop off shuttle service departing from Ayers Rock resort.
