Circular route through the Valley of the Five Lakes. It starts in the same parking lot. We start on the one-way track (marked as 9) until we cross a first wooden footbridge where the crossing is. We continue along the path to the left, towards the fifth lake (following trail 9). We reach the point where there is a new intersection, where we go to the path marked as 9A. From here, we don't leave these signs until the end of the route, passing by the 5 lakes. Between the third and second lakes, we find Parks Canada's iconic "red chairs". Once this route has been completed, we will return to the first crossing and end up on the same road that takes us to the car park.
The day was very overcast, but for the time of year, there was no sign of snow on the road. Yes, several of the lakes are frozen.
