Itinerary description
Crows Nest National Park protects spectacular creek scenery, granite outcrops, a scenic waterfall and eucalypt forest in the headwaters of Crows Nest Creek on the Great Dividing Range west of Brisbane.
The walk starts with a moderate walk following tracks and fire trail across the adjoining spur and mountain to Crows Nest Creek.
The rock hopping section is relatively easy and finishes climbing 120m straight up a steep watercourse to arrive at the Kronin Lookout. The diversion from Crows Nest Creek is marked to climb the watercourse. The walk will conclude walking back along the National Park Tracks to the start point. Persons not familiar with hiking moderate tracks well struggle.
