Itinerary description
Circular walk
Great, utterly stunning, diverse walk!
You start at the big parking at Pont de Belleheid (cross the Hoegne with the car to reach the parking)
First you’ll walk the immensely beautiful valley of La Hoegne with its countless wooden bridges and walkways. This part of the trail ends at Pont de Centenaire where you can decide to walk back to the parking on a road parallel to the Hoegne.
We continued on on some gravel roads to reach another river, the Polleur and a bit later Fagnes de Polleur before arriving at Baraque Michel.
Next, through the Grande Fagne, past some monuments, before taking a right turn to descend along La Statte, another river finding its way down and creating a truly beautiful natural environment as well. You will pass cascade des Nutons and Rocher de Bilisse here.
Some trails and small roads through the forest to get back at Pont de Belleheid.
The whole walk can be very, very, muddy, wear appropriate shoes!
-Pont de Belleheid brasserie: open Fri-Sun
-Baraque Michel brasserie: open Thu-Sun
