Nice excursion through the Valley of Planica, near the town of Ratece and very close to the border with Italy, where we will make an easy and fairly flat route, except for the final stretch of ascent to the Nadiza waterfall, which, like all the country, there was quite a lack of water.

We park next to the Nordic Ski Center, at the end of the paved road, and where there is plenty of space to leave the car.

Due to the situation of the waterfall, and the access by a fairly narrow path, it has not been possible to take very nice photos of the waterfall, since really, when you can see it, there is almost no space to move.

After the walk, we stop for a while watching the training of several skiers in ski jumping, on a kind of artificial grass that they soaked from time to time, we suppose so that it had a consistency similar to snow. (see mini-video on our website)
