Valle incles - Estany de Cabany Sorda

Fantastic walk along Valle Incles up to Cabany Sorda lake.

It's a steep climb, particularly at the beginning, and hard work on a hot day (especially for little legs) but worth it, with spectacular views over the valley and wild horses by the lake at the top.

If you want to drive in to Valle Incles in summer months, you have to be there before 9am. Then, the gate closes and you have to park in the car park by the main road and either get the "bus" or walk along the road into the Valley. We got there about 9.30 and there was a big queue for the bus. The advantage of the Cabany Sorda walk is that you only have to walk about 1.5 kms along the road before turning off to the left, rather than going all the way to the end of the valley.

It's well sign-posted all the way.
