Visiting the valley of Vrata is a good option to approach the northern wall of the Triglav (2864 m). The 12 km path next to the Triglavsa Bystrika river can be done on foot or by car. There are two parking areas (€ 3 / 2h), the first one is at the foot of the Pericnik (52 + 16m) waterfalls, which can be visited in a beautiful route that takes us up to the waterfall and if you are Bold enough and you go well, you can go under the waterfall, a little soaked, yes.
Continuing the valley above another 6 km you will arrive to the 2nd parking area, after which, following the marked path, you can approach the viewpoint of the splendid vertical wall of the Triglav.
In this place you will find panels that show some of the most important paths that have been followed since the 1890s to climb to the summit.
In both car parks you will find a bar, restaurant.
The slope has an error of 100 m more in descent (there is an erroneous height at the beginning of the route)
