Itinerary description
* Albanian well-known route, performed on 31th July 2019 with good friends and a beautiful sunny day.
* Start Point: "Guest House Demushi" (Valbone center, 3km far from the official Trail head -Excellent Guesthouse to stay, BTW)
* End Point: "Guest House Kullat E Sadri Lakes" (Okol, 3km far from the Teth center).
-It is recommended to start early in summer (not after 08.00 a.m, if possible) as the day will get hotter and hotter. There is no too much shadow in the Valbona side.
- The route is not a big challenge y if you are in a good shape, but may be difficult if you do not go to the mountains often. Almost anyone can do it with patience and time, but be prepared as it can take 6-8 hours if you go with calm.
- It's very difficult to get lost as there are many signals along the trail (red-white paint marks, stones, labels, and indicators). GPS is not necessary, although always helpful.
- Bring your own water. However, there are a couple of "bars" that offer water and other drinks, one on each side of the trail: SIMONI CAFE (Valbone Side) and BAR CAFE (Theth side).
Enjoy!
