Itinerary description
If you want a bit of a lighter day on the Peaks of the Balkans tour (like we did), you can grab a ride to the trailhead and start at the parking lot steps.
From there, it is just over 6 km to Ceremi.
Trail starts steep for about 2 km and then tapers off. Do note that if you are hiking with kids, there are a few cliff areas that are easy to go unnoticed (particularly about 200 meters up).
After about 3 km, the trail hits the road to Ceremi and is quite leisurely from then on.
