Itinerary description
When the summer pass is closed. This is the one to take. The first photo marks the path im red in relation to the summer path in orange.
After the simoni cafe look for a stone with "winter route" written on it (very small!) The owner of the cafe gave us clear instructions on where to go. And keep looking for the small cairns. Its a well trodden route, follow the footprints.
You walk up the river bed and at a steep point there is a fallen tree - at that point go right. Its not far then until the trail joins the summer path.
