Itinerary description
From the upper site of the village to the peak and back three are roughly 30km on a dirty road where minimum a serious 4x4 can climb. However we were going to hike. We were lucky, because at the very beginning a truck which was going to gather wood picked us up and saved us 8km. After that we walked another 8 km on the dirty road before reaching the slope before the peak. Once there, we saw hundreds of horses for the next 2km until reaching the peak.
After 1h of lunch time (joint by 4 Macedonian guys, since the peak is a border between Greece, Macedonia and Bulgaria you can find people) we started very fast going back. We ran, we found rough shortcuts and in 2'5h we were back in the village Skrat.
Alternatively to going back you can continue to Radomir peak (22km), but you will need to sleep in a mountain hut in the way in Lopovo area (look at map, find hut a phone number and call, if not they will not go to the hut to open it).
