Itinerary description
An easy hike to two arches.
Take the Hole-In-The-Rock road at highway 12, about 4 miles South-East of Escalante.
After 36 mile, take the well signed exit "40 mile ridge road" on the left.
Drive for up to 4 mile and take the short road, to the left, up to the metal water tank. This is the parking.
It should be possible to get here by regular car most of the time. (check before you go)
The road isn't drivable if wet.
At the parking look South and you should be able to spot the arch.
Hike towards the arch, there isn't any trail, so hike cross country following some cow trails.
From the second Sunrise Arch, you can make a loop cross country back to the parking.
