Itinerary description
From the La Maria Church of Usghuli, the hike starts with a pretty relaxing walk following the Enguri River at the bottom of the valley straight to the Glacier.
Afterwards with a bit of backtracking you can cross the river near a small kiosk and, after a climb among the grasses, you reach the small Namkuami lake. The climb to get to the top of the Chubedishi Ridge on the right is steep and the small crumbling rocks treacheruous, with no sight of the path but for a couple of small stone piles.
Once you get to the top, you have to cross the whole of the ridge to get back to Usghuli, though an easier alternative mid-ridge could be to take the left bifurcation and reach Zagar Pass, which is connected to Usghuli by road.
If your keep on the ridge you'll reach a mountain top with four fairly big stone cairns from which you can finally see the village again. From there the descent it's through a small path again among the grasses that takes you back to the center of Usghuli.
