Itinerary description

An easily accessible family forest walk; passes a trout fishing lake and a free foot suspension bridge. Large parking area at start-end waypoints. Options for much longer hikes from this location.

On the day the Live Trout truck was stocking the lake at this location and the fishermen were rapidly catching keeper trout.

A broad hiking trail goes all around the lake. Park staff warned of a bear in the woods near the trail, however we passed through the area without seeing any bears.
