Itinerary description
We started the upper beaver meadows loop at the Deer mountain trailhead. There is limited parking here. Instead of going up the mountain, you have to go down on the other side of the road. This adds about 100 meter (300 feet) extra climbing on the end of the walk, but it also adds some beautiful views walking down. However, of is also possible to start the loop at the Beaver Meadows trailhead.
