A success story!
*Caution after wet weather
*LOTS of scratchy plants (wear long pants or gaiters)
*1½ hours from Gheerula Falls to the Great walk connection.
*My boots really helped me here
After we backed out on father's day, I had to complete it! It was more pushing through dense scrub and wait-a-while than I would have liked, which leads me to believe there must be a better way to get up. It can be done quicker, but we just need better knowledge of the rock features.
The hike is very rewarding and the difficult part of this hike is only that short section between Gherulla Falls and the Great Walk.
It was challenging, but isn't that a part of the reason we do this stuff?
