It was a real challenge, going on this trail in winter is a serious thing. So hard and extremely dangerous in many sections. Since the beginning the trail goes up and up having a considerable elevation right away. I had 179 bpm heart rate almost at the beginning. There was ice, and 2 feet snow on the ice which elevate the risk of avalanche. Very slippery and with medium exposure in some sections. We needed to leave it 200 m before the peak due to some reasons including temperature and time.
Started at 10:40 AM and finished it at 9 PM, of course considering resting time, lunch and dinner. Trail for experienced hikers, must use crampons, poles, ice axe and very important a long rope needed to climb up and down in the cliffs when the trail is unsafe due to the ice.
Garmin info:
Maximum Elevation 1344m
Elevation Gain 1277m
Total time 10h12min
Distance 13.56km
Calories 3138
