Group Capital Walkers
Travel: Take the 10:22 from Victoria, change at Bromley South (arrives 10:38, departs 10:44), arrives Eynsford at 11:00. Can also take the 10:12 direct from Blackfriars.
The outward part of this pleasant walk climbs to the top of the North Downs and covers woodland, fields and parkland. The return follows the scenic valley of the River Darent. The lavender fields in the valley should be in full bloom. Also an opportunity to visit a farm shop for various lavender oils and products.
Terrain: Open country, some hills to climb and paths can be muddy when wet.
Dropout points: Otford 5 miles, Shoreham 9 miles
