We did a variation of this hike where we drove to the monument and hiked down to the waterfall from there. there were no clearly marked hiking trails but lots of goat and sheep paths to make your way down to the falls. Beautiful Scenery.
A high-clearance car can make most of the drive in to shorten the hike.
