Itinerary description
This is one of the many, many "klompenpaden" in the province of Gelderland.
Much information can be found on the website specifically dedicated to these "klompenpaden". (www.klompenpaden.nl)
What they all have in common is that these well-signposted tracks run along or across grassy fields, waters, dikes etc. and that many have extensive views and allow limited access to private estates to turn the path into a circular track.
In the wet seasons quite a number of these tracks are muddy and difficult going at times, but in periods of drought there is no problem of this kind whatsoever.
This Uddeler klompenpad is no exception to this and provides a good picture of the area of this province with its Veluwe (heathland and forests), farmland and meadows. It also crosses Kroondomein Het Loo.
NB This GPS track was recorded in April and crosses a part of the Kroondomein that is closed from September 15th to December 25th ! An alternative is provided by just following the regular signpost shields on poles.

Echt een hele prachtige route langs het Uddeler Klompenpad. De route had voor mij nog langer gemogen. Van dit soort routes wil ik er graag meer van doen.
