Since this hike is quite long, at the beginning of some variants to not have to deal with the whole tour. Our hike starts in Mezni Louka (Rain meadow). If you have just set off for the hike to the Prebischtor or through the gorge, you can take a bus from Hrensko to the starting point or hike from Hrensko and back by bus. But many hike to the Prebischtor and go back the same way. You can park at the hotel in Mezni Louka, which is a bit cheaper than in Hrensko. You cross the street in front of the hotel and follow the very well signposted red marked hiking trail, which will accompany us to Hrensko. The advantage of this round to Pravcicka brana is that the climbs are more moderate. We walk on the Gabrielensteig through a wonderful landscape. On the left side you can see the landscape below with the Rosenberg (Ruzowski vrch). The path goes around the Großer Prebischgrund, a magnificent rocky ground. Soon we reach the turnoff to the Prebischtor. On the right, a 600m long path in several bends leads to the Prebischtor. We see the historic inn Falkennest and soon afterwards the gate itself. Passing the guest house, admission costs 75 Kronen (3 €) per person. You can now go first to the left and get over steps to other viewpoints. You look down into the forest cauldron, which you will cross on the descent and to the other side on the Prebischtor. After enjoying this view, descend and then turn left to the views on Prebischtor. Finally, return down to the red trail and follow it to the right in the direction of Langer Grund (Dlouhy dul). The Pelagiensteig now leads steeply and partially paved down until you reach the road 21. Passing numerous fountains, you turn right next to the road down to Hrensko. At the mouth of Kamenice we now follow the yellow road on the other side of the road in front of the road bridge of Kamenice. A wildly romantic valley takes us now in about 20 minutes to the boat dock in the Edmundsklamm. Until 18:00 clock you can now for n3 € in 20 minutes up the river. There are numerous explanations for this. Even a hand-triggered waterfall must not be missed. After a refreshment, you now have the opportunity over a bridge to begin the ascent to Mezna and from there to the starting point. But it is better to take a little detour and walk along the river to the Wilder Klamm. Again we board a boat and arrive after 10 minutes for 2, 50 € further up the river. 16:30 clock leads the last ride up here and 17:00 clock down the river. The path now changes to the river side and over galleries of iron plates over the river. Fortunately, this artificial way is probably not checked by experts from the neighboring country and thus offers a nice hike. After about 20 minutes, the path ends at the river and leads now left uphill through the woods. At the intersection following, we follow the blue trail to the left which leads us back to the starting point of this unforgettable tour.
Boat trip: about 1.2 km
