Here you have the complete route and general comments of the trip: RUTA LEMOSHO

DAY 0 (Arrival in Moshi) (October 8, 2016)
As a curious fact, I would like to comment that at the Nairobi airport while waiting for the next flight, an Australian (Rober) approached us and asked us if he could accompany us on our climb to Kilimanjaro, after a look between us we told him that if the company we had contracted did not put any problems for us either. He accompanied us throughout the trip and proved to be a great travel companion, honest and loyal.
We arrived by plane from Nairobi in the early morning, at the foot of the plane a nurse was waiting for us, asking us for a vaccination letter to check that we had the yellow fever bottle on, (I think if you did not present it, they would vaccinate you right there). Then we filled in a form and paid the entrance fees to Tanzania $ 50, we collected suitcases and we went through the scanner.
At the airport exit they were waiting for us to move to the hotel in Moshi, once there we were welcomed by Edwar (the owner of the company) who gave us a brief "berefet" of what we were going to do and introduced us to our guide (Emru ) that would accompany us until the last day. We adjusted our travel accounts and settled into the room.
Emru made a "checking" of all our luggage to check that we had all the clothes and equipment we needed. There were no problems, we had brought everything we needed
At mid-morning we went to see Moshi and to buy a mobile card since Emru told us that there were some points on the route where there was coverage. We bought a one-week and 500 Gb that was enough to communicate (approx 5 $) (Vodafone was called there Vodacom).
We did not buy anything else, not even chocolates or sweets the appearance was not good and the city very poor.
Another curiosity was that the day of arrival was Sunday and people were dressed in their best clothes to go to church (mostly Christians).
We decided to eat and dine at the hotel, we guessed right since the food was more European, rich and cheap ($ 12), the beers were all 1/2 liter.
We spent the afternoon whasapear and prepare the backpack and suitcase the next day, I decided to leave at the hotel the cotton clothes I had brought to lighten and a complete change for the return.
We also prepared the clothes that we had brought to give to the porters that we distributed during the journey to the Lemosho gate.

DAY 1 (October 9, 2016)
At 9:00 we were riding in a van with all the porters 11 + cook + guide + assistant guide, 15 in total for 3 people
We moved from Moshi to LONDROSI GATE (3h car with stop included for the breakfast of the porters), located on the western slope of Kilimanjaro, there we registered in the registration book, which we had to do every day on arrival to each field. There all the porters weighed their bags, could not carry more than 20 kg each in addition to their backpack for the entire journey. We had a picnic that was given to us in a small stall prepared for this purpose, after completing the paperwork (2 h, there were many groups), we got back in the car and we moved to Lemosho Gate (30 '), starting point of our route .
Finally we started walking, it was only 7 km which separated us until the first "camp" that in Spain it would take from 2 to 2:30 and here it takes 4 hours for the "polepole" effect (slowly), used by the guide in order to get acclimated and that will crush day after day.
No difficulty and wooded area not very different from what you can find in the Pyrenees except the height of the trees and plants.
On this occasion we arrived almost at the same time as the porters and we had to wait for them to mount the tents that they made with some speed, despite the fatigue they might have, they carried a bag of 20 kg each.
While they were preparing the dinner they put a bucket of hot water to wash us, we changed our clothes.
The dinner surprised us, it was rich, very spicy but it was eaten well, always accompanied by tea and some pieces of fruit. Abundant.
We prepare to sleep.
