Itinerary description
BEWARE: CAMPING AND ADEQUATE SUPPLIES ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!
absolutely amazing stretch of the Lycian Way from the ancient Greek ruins of Typalia to a beautiful meadow at around 1300m altitude with a dramatic view over Antalya. After a descent to a small hamlet (Citdibi, there's absolutely nothing aside from a water fountain) you'll descent further into a gorge you steadily climb up again and walk through Mediterranean woodlands until you reach the village of Hisarçandir. There's a small cafe where you can drink tea and order a sandwich but that's about it. The village shop was closed so we asked a guy from the cafe to drive use to the next village so that we could resupply. He drove us back and then we continued our hike (once more ascending) alongside a beautiful rocky stream and through a thick forest. We ended at a beautiful meadow with amazing views over the Mediterranean and Antalya where we set up camp.
