Itinerary description
First part of this trail is crushed limestone/concrete, heavily used, and downhill. We did this on a beautiful Fall day so the first mile of the trail was packed. Once you get to the bottom by the creek you have multiple points to jump on the loop on the west ridge and multiple points to jump to another trail after that. We decided to keep heading north and west every time we hit a Y or T. At about the 1 mile mark we found a lightly used trail which was great. Trail was a little more challenging with a descent that was made more difficult with loose falling leaves at the 1.2 mile mark. Last quarter mile include a 150 foot incline that is mostly rock stairs.
