Itinerary description
Nice circular hike using mainly shaded paths plus some tracks and minor roads from Turbenthal station to viewpoint on Schauenberg hill and ruined castle (destroyed in 1344).
When first turning right (NE) onto the path from Schulstrasse in Turbenthal, be careful not to go up the more-major path south of the Hutzikerbach stream - the correct path is north of the stream.
