- Follow the path sloping down to the spectacular rocky coast. At the end of the runway, a short tunnel with steps leads to a secluded beach.
- This lane crosses private land - respect the property of the owner and the cattle.
Tunnel Beach is south of Dunedin. Start at the parking lot on Tunnel Beach Road, signposted on Blackhead Road.
- The parking lot is reasonably small. Do not leave valuables in your car.
