Itinerary description
No more paper markers. No more guided hikes. Now it's all self-guide, with map provided. Been waiting for this to happen with KLH, and now it's here! With this move by Alex and Cath, anyone who intends to participate will have to learn on how to use mapping apps.
Clear trail, muddy here and there, since it's not just for hikers. Dirt-bikers and mountain-bikers use this trail as well. So do watch out while you're on the trail.
Leeches, aplenty, especially around areas where we did a massive loop. Not surprising since there's signs of wild boar population here.
Was pleasantly surprised to find that Tunggul Hill had a clean, clear Water Source. However, you'll have to do the loop, to find it. And yes, massive concentration of leeches here, as well.
Waypoints
Start/End Point
No parking space here. Houses being built, so, be kind and park your vehicle appropriately, by the side of the road.
Electrical Tower
Note: If it rains, or if you want to escape the blaring sun, avoid using umbrellas. The danger of static electricity shock is real here. Not forgetting lightning strikes, as well, since the area where these towers stands, are usually clear and without any canopy covers. Be safe.
