Itinerary description
Ridge walk above Luchon and Bossost.
take the forestry tack behind Luchon..parking at end of track..
Follow 4x4 track past Cabane Courrau Vieil and a further cabine ..take left hand path that leads to the Somet de la Laque..here you are on the ridge and can have good views north along ridge.Follow path and you see the frontier markers for France and Spain dotted far away.
Climb on some shale to reach Tuc Pougastou ..views down the valley towards Vielha and over looking Luchon on one side and Bossost the other ..i followed on untill Tuc de Bidur..
Trail easy to follow and you could continue to the Burat ...maybee another day.
return same way, but i took path below Poujastou to reach the refuge cabine of Millourtere.
