Itinerary description
This route follows the Volika hut trail and terminates at a small summit marked with a cairn just above a new chapel under construction near the Volika hut.
You start at the beginning of a shepherds vehicle track on the road to Psyhcro Pigadi. You follow the track past a sheep station and shortly after the next sheep station after this you go through a gate in the wire fence on the left onto the Volika Hut trail.
The trail is well marked and easy to follow and is a really nice walk up a beautiful valley. You need to be moderately fit & proper walking footwear is essential as the trail is quite rough in parts, I would also recommend you use a walking pole.
