Itinerary description
Waypoints
Chetchet
The distance from KTM to Chetchet is 190 km, which takes approximately 6 hours to drive. The road is mostly paved up to Singati, after which it becomes a gravel road for the remaining 19 km to Chetchet. Hike starts from Chetchet to Tsho Rolpa glacial lake.
Simigaun
Upon reaching Chetchet, you should hike to Simigaun. The trail to Simigaun is approximately two km in distance and steep takes two hours to complete.
Surmuche
4.4KM far from Simigaun & the trail will take around 2 hours to cover this distance.
Kyalje
3.2Km. far from Surmuche. 1.5hrs.takes to cover the distance. A Hotel & a tea house is available.
Dongang
1.6km. far from Kyalje will take 30 minutes to cover this distance. There are Tea houses and some hotels.
THANDING
4.5Km. far from Dongang. 3 hours will take to complete the trail. Some tea houses are available.
Beding
Ancient Sherpa village with traditional cultures. 5.5Km. far from THANDING and takes more than 2 hours to complete the trail.
Na Gaun
The gateway to TSHO-ROLPA and Dudhkunda. 3.2 far from Beding and takes 3 hours to complete the trail. There are some hotels with lodging facilities.
Tsho-Rolpa
This is an Ultimate destination at an altitude of 4580M. 7.4KM. far from Na takes more than 3 hours to reach here. Here is also a tea house available.
Dudhkunda
An adventurous destination at an altitude of 4700M. It takes 2-3 hours to reach here from Tsho-Rolpa, there is also a tea house available.
