Itinerary description
The trail starts in Trojica at the water spring, right by the road. The first few kilometres until the 10th curve are dull as it's all asphalt road but with nice views over Kotor and Vrmac.
The trail from the 10th curve to Zanjev Do is slightly overgrown, beware of thorny bushes. I've encountered 2 cows on the way and loads of dung, 2 fences that are easily bypassed.
From Zanjev Do to Kuk is not marked except the final part when reaching the new road leading to Lovcen but the trail itself is nice, going through the forest the first part and then opening by the end. You'll be rewarded by some great views over the Boka Bay!
From Kuk via Dolovi to Babina glava is a wide gravel road and then it descends and gets more rocky.
From Poda to the lovely village of Mirac is again asphalt road and the final part to the graveyard in Trojica is quite overgrown and markings barely visible but it's passable and the shortest way down.
The hike itself is moderate but it's a very long, a whole day one so definitely not good for late November. I ran both the first and last part on the asphalt road therefore more time is needed than what is indicated here (7hours).
