Itinerary description
On Saturday 29th June, Island Hikers embarked on an upriver circuit along the Diego Martin Blue Basin water course. The trip started and ended at Cameron along the Maraval to Diego main road. The first part entails going down the valley to the refreshing Blue Basin waterfalls and pool. It is at this point some venture upstream climbing the vertical walls along the stream, then thru the stream itself. There are several wonderful swim pools. The course is very scenic along the way. Caution is advised along the steep slopes.
